every serviceman who honorably fought in nam is a hero especially the marines ,they bore the heaviest combat.the u.s.military is the treasure of america but unfortunately they are too much times wasted by cynic political considerations. nam vets, keep strong the nam vets brotherhood to honor the fallen heroes and your awesome deeds.you are the best of america ,then and now . there are 58,000 reasons never to forget . bless you all and your families .semper fi.
Glad I found this web site. I've wanted to say something for years but never had a way to do so. I very well remember that day. Richard and I liked each other and it was rough on me and on all of us, especially on the Lieutenant. We were used to losing guys, we did it all the time, but this hit him hard. But we understood. You had to be in that place to understand. Richard's our brother and we love him and miss him. God bless and comfort you. Semper Fidelis!
