Profiles Of Courage

A collection of brief histories on the men who served with Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment in Vietnam, from 1966 to 1971.

Earning a medal for valor is not a prerequisite, as most went above and
beyond without any recognition what-so-ever.  These are stories about combat hardened Marines and Corpsmen, who everyday thought of Duty, Corps and Country while they lived, fought - and sometimes died - in Hell.

They are stories of dedication, and honor among men - who would die if need be - for one another.  They are everyday stories of men who would become brothers by virtue of their deeds . . .

And their quest for survival.
